Ms. Emma Jacobs is responsible for all facets of the operation of CMC Building, Inc. Working with the executive team, she sets the vision and parameters of the direction for our future success. She leads the Executive Team in setting operational and aspirational goals while monitoring accountability for the execution and achievement of their success.

Ms. Jacobs is the wife of the late John Jacobs.  Under his direction, the two created and established CMC Building, Inc., formerly Columbus Masonry & Construction, Inc.  Ms. Emma continues to maintain the success and honor her late husband’s vision of CMC Building, Inc.

BRUCE PRESNELL

VP OF OPERATIONS

Bruce has been with CMC Building, Inc. since 2014.  He is responsible for implementing new resources and new operational revenue streams, evaluating processes, procedures, and assisting in developing strategies and implementation plans to improve and standardize all aspects of operations. The position works directly with the COO/CFO and VP of Marketing in providing leadership for the overall operating performance of the division, monitoring and controlling construction projects through the direction of Project Managers/Estimators and other senior construction staff to ensure projects are built on schedule, within budget and in compliance with company safety and procedural policies.

LaShanda Jacobs has been with CMC Building, Inc. for over 20 years.  She works hand in hand with the Division VPs to ensure effective and successful management of labor, productivity, quality control, sales, and safety measures.  Mrs. Jacobs manages our day-to-day finances and overall operations; serves as a company representative on regulatory issues; and assists with the decision-making of upcoming opportunities.  In addition, she verifies systems and principles in place and provides effective communication between company divisions to ensure the company is performing at its best potential.

TONY HAYES

VP OF MARKETING & COMMUNICATIONS

Tony is responsible for the organization’s marketing/communication activities overseeing the development and delivery of a fully integrated marketing strategy for the business. Tony interacts with all departments internally and externally to ensure that all our customer needs are met. He supports and translates business objectives and growth strategies into executable plans to bolster the “CMC” brand in the marketplace. Market research, analysis, technology, and good old fashion relationship building are used to expand markets. All while maintaining a positive presence with existing and potential clients, partners, and vendors. Tony has a strong and keen commitment to the company’s clear communications, industry best practices, customer retention, and brand awareness for our growing and diverse portfolio. Tony ultimately knows; what makes CMC Building Inc. uniquely different is completely understanding your needs and repeatedly delivering outstanding outcomes for you.
